Update: 3 years and still going strong!! We still can’t recommend RISE enough. The most delicious and beautiful cakes in Charleston!! RISE Bespoke Bakery Co. was over the top amazing!!!! From the very first contact designing the cake to pickup and devouring every last bite of this delicious cake I was thrilled. They were very responsive, accommodating and so sweet. When I called I had a jumble of ideas and they were able to help me put that all together into the perfect cake. The cake was more than I could have ever hoped for and my husband loved it!! The icing was out of this world good and the cake was moist and had a great flavor. We will absolutely be ordering again and suggest you order as well if you need any type of cake for any event!!! If you have a special occasion and need a cake and/or treats, PLEASE ORDER FROM THIS BAKERY!!!! I recently used their services for my daughter's birthday and their cake was the BEST CAKE I have EVER had! Not only was it delicious but the design and execution was perfect! Normally, I NEVER eat the icing on a cake, especially buttercream, since in my experience with past cakes from other bakers it has been dense, sticky, and WAY too sweet! I ate the ICING on THIS cake! It was the lightest, fluffiest, perfectly sweetened buttercream icing in the world and the strawberry filling I chose was to die for! I supplemented the cake with the optional coordinating sheet cake, cake pops, and cloud cookies and they were just as delicious and was the perfect serving amount with the tall cake for my guests. They kept coming back for more! I also had the cake delivered and the delivery service was perfect. PLEASE give this bakery a chance to cater your event and you will NOT be disappointed!
I worked with Amy at RISE Bespoke Bakery Co. to make a space-theme cake for my daughter's 10th birthday. We simply exchanged a few emails and I sent a few photos of what I was looking for and she NAILED it! This cake not only looked EXACTLY like I was wanting/hoping, but it tasted great, too! Our wedding cake was everything we hoped for—classic, romantic, and absolutely stunning. The two-tier vintage design was perfect, and the additional slab cake ensured everyone got a slice. The vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream was so yummy, and delivery to our venue was completely seamless. We couldn’t be happier!

I had a small wedding cake (Belle Fleur) and coordinating cupcakes (bouquet) made for a small BBQ reception and they were absolutely gorgeous and delicious! The cakes were very tasty and moist, icing was divine, and the decorations were like flawless artwork. The prices were reasonable and the order was completed and ready to be picked up on time. I would highly recommend Rise Bakery and will definitely use their service again in the future!
I loved the fresh strawberries on my strawberry shortcake and the cake was so moist. The cake started to lean over to one side when my boyfriend had it in his car. He takes full responsibility but it would have been nice if the box was more secure.

They were easy to work with and very helpful in coordinating delivery options, and they truly delivered on expectations. We ordered seven 6" cakes—one for each table—with a variety of flavors, and every single one was delicious and beautifully decorated. While they can’t guarantee a completely allergy-free environment, they were transparent and provided all the information we needed to make an informed decision. We highly recommend them for any wedding or special event!
We originally ordered a cake for our wedding, and now Rise has become our go-to bakery for every occasion! The cakes are absolutely gorgeous and delicious. The frosting is light and not overly sweet. We chose the coconut cream flavor for our wedding, and it was the perfect choice. Each of the cakes we’ve ordered since have all been great quality and easy to order. We can’t recommend them enough!
